Round Robin assignment is True Colors. Here are the instructions:
" True Colors
The idea is a simple one: Show us something that's unusually colorful, exactly as your camera captures it. You can rotate, crop and/or sharpen your image, but don't adjust the tone or colors in any way."
I've been a quiet blogger lately. I was privilaged to go on a two week vacation to warm, sunny Florida. If you check out the weather in Moncton, New Brunswick, where I live, you will know why this beautiful flower is unusual to me. Maybe not to you, but I am living in a cold, white winter world. The snowbanks are over our heads now. We are shoveling our roofs so they do not collapse.
I'm also a quiet blogger, because as soon as I came back from Florida, I checked my work schedule and work is where I will be for most of February. What happened to my little part time job, I wonder.
Anyway, here are a few colorful photos, unusual because, as I said, any color but white in my little corner of the world is unusual, and I enjoyed the flowers at Bok Singing Gardens immensely.
Look ever so closely into the heart of this flower.
As per instructions, I didn't edit these photos at all except for cropping. I love playing with my photos but I think in this case, the true color is very brilliant and I am pleased with the results.
So gald you could go to sunny Florida and find some colors. (beyond grey and white of winter, that is) Very nice.
